Tuesday, January 19, 2010 4:26 PM MST

Experience the “coolest” event of the year. Take a quick jump into an outdoor pool of water to raise funds for Special Olympics Wyoming during the 2010 Casper Jackalope Jump on Feb. 27 on the patio of the Casper Aquatic Center.

Registration begins at 5 p.m. and the jump starts at 6 p.m. A party for participants follows at 7 p.m.

You must raise at least $100 in pledges to Special Olympics Wyoming to participate, or $50 each for groups of at least five persons.

Contest categories are: most money raised by an individual; most money raised by an athlete; most money raised by a group; largest group jump; and best group theme/costumes.

To register or for more information, go online to www.specialolympicswy.org or call 235-3062.
