Parenting Wisely at your library

Sunday, November 29, 2009 7:00 AM MST

Parents with children ages 8-18 can learn skills to deal with common problems that occur at these ages through a Parenting Wisely night at the Natrona County Public Library. The evening will include a dinner for families who attend, followed by a learning session for adults and a fun holiday activity for kids.

The class will be offered Thursday, Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. in the library’s Crawford Room and is designed for families.

Parents will have the chance to walk through an online course curriculum, provided by Mercer House, learning about assertive discipline, “I” statements, contracting, active listening and many other parenting skills.
