World Diabetes Day event at Highland Park Church

Highland Park Community Church is the site of a World Diabetes Day event Saturday, Nov. 14. The Casper Lions Club has teamed with area diabetes educators to “Bring Diabetes to Light” in Casper.

Registration begins at 9 a.m., and the event runs through 2:30 p.m. It is for all ages and is set to offer a unique education experience for those with diabetes and those at risk for diabetes.

There is no cost for the event, which coincides with World Diabetes Day on Nov. 14. For more information, contact Mary Tvedt, RD, CDE, Casper Lions Club diabetes coordinator at 577-7956.
